Here is my candidate for this week:

Expected Publication: September 2013

This is gonna be awesome with a side of oh-hell-yeah!  MORE THAN One Night with Sole Regret. And it's MORE of GABE!

Can't. Wait.

So why did I pick this one? Well, it's quite simple really.

1. It's Olivia Cunning. She owns me. Heart and my dirty, pervy, soul.
2. Tatted hero.
3. Rocker hero
4. Black and White cover
5. Did I mention tatted hero?
6. Nekked goodness to drool over
7. And it's Olivia FREAKING Cunning. She owns me.

Now it's your turn to show me (or tell me) what cover you are lusting over this week. Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

Title: Wicked Beat (Sinners, Book Five)
Author: Olivia Cunning
Expected Release Date: August 6, 2013

ARC provided by NetGalley

From the moment he lays eyes on Sinners’ new front of house soundboard operator, drummer Eric Sticks knows he has to make Rebekah his. Unfortunately, she’s too busy trying to seduce guitarist Trey Mills to pay him much attention. Rebekah never planned to fall for the tall, goofy drummer with the weird sense of humor and a heart the size of the galaxy. But Eric makes her laugh and his constant attention makes her feel sexy and irresistible–exactly what she needs after the things her last lover said to her. A woman who gives as much as she takes, Rebekah makes Eric feel like a total stud–exactly what he needs after surviving a decade of watching the incredibly talented members of Sinners from the wings.

Book Review

Wicked Beat is the final installment in Olivia Cunning's series--Sinners On Tour--and I am sad to see its end.

I have loved the rock-n-roller coaster ride that Cunning created with her very sexy rockers and addictive characters.

Eric Stixx, the often misunderstood drummer, finally gets his HEA with a heroine that fits him like a glove. I absolutely adored Rebekah. She is sassy, gets Eric's warped humor, and has such a heartbreaking past, you can't help but like her. She is Eric's perfect match.

Throughout the Sinners Series, Eric's character has been a bit superficial...he's been the jokester, the one always watching from the sidelines...but as the series moves along, Olivia shows the reader a vulnerable side of Eric that tore at my heartstrings. For example, his relationship with Jace in the book, Hot Ticket, is expanded upon and the two become closer.

And now in Wicked Beat, we get to see exactly why Eric chose his voyeuristic tendencies and how his past shaped the man he became.

On top of all the emotional turmoil Cunning immerses the reader in, she gives us what she is extremely talented doing--extremely erotic and unique sexual situations that make for extremely aroused readers praying for their own rock god. You never know what to expect with Cunning's wicked imagination--but you can expect to be well satisfied in the end.

Tuesdays have never been so sexy!

Sexy Snippets is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Between the Wines for the 18+ crowd. To join in just grab the button, post a sexy paragraph or two from your current read and share the author & title so other participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like. His heart is tied to his past…
When Sole Regret’s rhythm guitarist, Kellen Jamison, vowed to be faithful to his fiancĂ©e and love her forever, he meant it. He never expected to lose her to cancer so early in life. He’s certain he’ll never love again, but destiny has another plan for him.

Her heart is tied to her work…
Grammy-winning classical composer and piano virtuoso, Dawn O’Reilly, is overwhelmed with music-writing deadlines, a fickle muse, and high-expectations. She doesn’t have time to find love, but chance seeks to interfere with her carefully devised plans.

They’re bound to become entangled...
From the instant Kellen hears Dawn’s latest musical composition, his spirits rise. The stirring melody and the remarkable woman responsible for its creation are impossible to resist. His attraction is undeniable; her passion unquenchable. Kellen teaches Dawn there’s freedom in bondage, while her sensuality drives him to unleash his tightly controlled self-restraint. Will the ropes Kellen uses to secure Dawn’s body be the force that binds them together or ultimately sever all ties between them?

"I should have known you'd be stubborn," Kellan said.
"I'm trying."
"That's the problem, baby. You're trying. Just feel me, Dawn. Feel my rhythm. Our rhythm. Do you hear it?"
She heard the sounds of flesh moving inside slick flesh. The creak of the bed. Her breathing and his. The pounding of the surf outside her window. She could even hear the pulse throbbing in her ears if she concentrated hard enough.
He placed his lips against her mound and hummed her melody. She exploded like a supernova. Her core tightened as waves of ecstasy ripped through her body. Fluids gushed from her clenching pussy. Stunned, she lifted her head to gape at Kellan, but the pleasure was too intense, so her head dropped back on the bed and she squeezed her eyes shut as she continued to ride the waves of bliss shattering her.
"Fuck, yes," Kellan said in a sexy growl. His fingers slipped free of her body so he could lick her freely flowing cum like a starving man.

Olivia, dahling...We must talk. I mean, how the hell can you make me swoon so damn easily with two tiny words: Our rhythm.

And now I know why Kellan is such a kick-ass rhythm guitarist. It's in his

This may not be a full length novel (dammit, lol), but Olivia packs it full of emotions, sexual frustration, and hot piano sex, you forget you're reading a novella.

Did I mention how much I love this woman?

Now it's your turn to show me your smexy!

"Show me that you want me," she said, her eyes riveted to his crotch.
"If I let it loose, I'm going to have to fuck you with it." He ran his hand over the hard ridge in his pants and sucked a pained breath through his teeth. "And I haven't tasted you yet."He reached for the button of her jeans and unfastened it. He couldn't wait to see her naked again. To smell her. Taste her. Touch her.

LURVE LURVE LURVE Livey :) Seriously. I want to marry her and have her children. She knows how to write a smexy rocker that makes you swoon.

Now it's your turn to show me your Sexy Snippet!

Title: Hot Ticket (Sinners On Tour, Book Three)
Author: Olivia Cunning
Expected Release Date: February 13, 2013

ARC provided by NetGalley

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.

Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.

When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

Once upon a time, I was perusing the shelves at my local bookstore, when I came across this book by an unknown author--Backstage Pass. The cover grabbed me with its seductive pose and the blurb --well, the blurb kind of put me off, at first.

It was a book about Rock Stars.

I wasn't sure if I would be interested in such a book. And I put it aside...

GAH! What in heaven's name was I thinking?!

I can't remember what prodded me to pick it up the next time around, but I did. And I have been truly thankful that I did every day. The Sinners On Tour is one of my all-time favorite series.

The Sinners is a fictional band created by the uber-talented Ms. Olivia Cunning. Her rockers are hot, sexy, and hysterical. I couldn't put the book down. I was lost in the world of hard rock music, screaming groupies, and talented musicians who know how to use their hands. Reading Olivia's books make me want to go see a kick-ass rock concert and scream my lungs out.

Hot Ticket is Jace Seymour's story--the quiet bassist of the group-- who spoke to me from the very beginning. When I learned that this rocker had a darker side, which included whips and paddles, I knew he had a story to tell.

Hot Ticket starts out in Las Vegas, in a strip joint, where the Sinners run into Jessica, Sed's old girlfriend. There is a lot of overlapping at the beginning of Hot Ticket--scenes that took place in Rock Hard (Book Two), but you get the story from Jace's point of view.  This is also where Jace spots Aggie, dressed in leathers and sporting a bullwhip. And their is an instant connection--Jace has something he desperately needs and Aggie is the one who can give it to him.

"I want you to hurt me." He drew a deep, shuddering breath into his expanding chest. "Hardcore."

Aggie, an experienced Domme who knows her way around a whip and flogger, is flummoxed when she can't get Jace to submit.
"Whatever it is that's eating you alive, you have to let it go, she murmured, stroking his brow, his stubble-rough cheek, and his angled jaw with tender fingertips. "Let it go, Jace."
His jaw set. He shook his head slightly. "I'd rather be gutted alive.

There are so many layers to Jace that we get to see in this book. That tender, gentler side, made him all the more lovable. We get to see how he lives when he's not on the road with The Sinners and how simplistic he keeps his life. Jace's character is multi-faceted and as each layer is revealed in this book, I fell a little bit harder. All the painful issues that come to light made my heart hurt and my throat tight with tears.

As Jace struggles to come to terms with his past and fight for his rightful place in The Sinners, he must also realize that he is loved and deserves to be loved. Aggie is like a balm to his battered soul and the band grows closer together. The disconnect between Jace and Eric is bridged and is one of my favorite scenes in the book.

And, of course, Olivia delivers with some really steamy scenes between the sheets. This woman knows how to write sex that's filled with emotions, humor, and highly erotic dialogue.

Hot Ticket gives Olivia's fans a little bit of everything and has them (ahem, me) wanting more.

Title: Double Time (Sinners on Tour, Book 5*)
Author: Olivia Cunning
Publisher: Sourcebooks Casablanca
Expected Release Date: November 1, 2012

ARC provided by NetGalley

Trey Mills, the notoriously sexy Sinners rhythm guitarist, gives up his bisexual lifestyle and is swept into a hot, heady romance with Reagan Elliot, a female rock star sensation. But when Trey encounters Reagan's sexy bisexual roommate, Ethan Conner, he can no longer deny who he is or what he wants. Reagan heartily agrees to a solution that opens up a hot new world of sexual experience--and love--with the two men she wants the most.

Book Review

I have put off this review for as long as I possibly can. Sigh.
This has been weighing heavily on my mind, as I love and adore Olivia Cunning's series, Sinners On Tour, since I first read and devoured her sexy Rock Gods from the first book--Backstage Pass.

For those of you readers out there who do not have the first clue what I am talking about and have not picked up this fabulous book--(shame on you), The Sinners is the fictitious rock band that consist of Sedric Lionheart, Brian Sinclair, Jace Seymour, Eric Sticks, and Trey Mills.

This is the problem that I am having as I put my thoughts on "paper":  Trey Mills's book was supposed to be released last in this series. In order for his character ARC to make sense, I think that it should have stayed the last to be released.

Who can understand the thought processes of an editor's or publisher's mind when that important fact is NOT taken into consideration? Uh...that would be a big fat no--I cannot understand. Why? Because the reader misses vital character development when deciding to release a book out of sequence. And that is all I will say about this touchy subject.

After finishing Double Time, I think a lot of how I rated this book is affected by missing above stated character development (I go into much more detail about this below but it is a bit spoilery, so beware). So, yeah--I'm going to have to do a re-read when all books are finally out (and that will not be a hardship, peeps, lol). Maybe then things will make a bit more sense in the overall scheme of things.

Double Time has a very unique and interesting leading lady-Reagan Elliot. I totally dug her style and her personality. She has a rocker's soul and plays a kick-ass guitar. She is auditioning to temporarily replace the guitarist for the band, Exodus End. And the infamous Trey Mills is in attendance during her audition. When the mysterious guitarist breaks out with the Sinners' "Gates of Hell" during the auditions, Trey is stunned to find out the guitarist isn't his best friend and band member Brian Sinclair playing a trick on him. And even more stunned when he sees that its a woman.

Trey and Reagan have an instant sexual attraction to each other. One that can steam your glasses and have you changing your panties...several you continue to read. There is no doubt that Olivia has a way with words and especially if they are coming out of Trey's mouth. He is the king of sexual innuendos, lol. Here is a little snippet that emulates Trey's sense of humor and his sexiness that curls my toes:

"You're driving me insane," she said. "Do you have a condom?"
"Are you in a hurry?" he murmured.
"Kinda. My fifteen-minute break is almost over."
"You're going to be late." He nipped her earlobe and released her wrist.
And the fact that Reagan goes head-to-head with this sex machine, giving back as much as he dishes out, makes my knees knock. They are great together.

"Do you know what I do to naughty boys?" she asked.
"Tease them to their limits and then shoot them down," Dare guessed and took a nonchalant sip of his beverage.
Reagan grinned. "Exactly."
Well, fuck, if she was just going to shoot him down anyway, he might as well push the envelope.
"Do you know what I do to naughty girls? {Trey} asked, locking her gaze with his.
"I put in my tongue piercing."

But Reagan has some issues that still linger from her past. She is recovering from a relationship where her ex-boyfriend, Ethan Conner, turned out to be gay. The two now remain good friends--in fact, they are roommates. But what will happen when Reagan finds out that Trey is keeping a big secret from her? One that could totally blow up in his face and sever their relationship? Can Trey give up having sexual feelings for men? And--WHOA, Mama--what happens when Trey starts getting that feeling for Ethan?

Double Time is packed with oodles of scorching sex scenes that pack an emotional wallops, snarky humor, and wicked banter between the band members that give me the warm fuzzies. But something bothered me big time with this story. So if you don't want to get a taste of spoilery, you may want to cover your ears at this point.

Trey finally reveals to his best friend, Brian, the sexual feelings (and love) that he had towards him in the past. It was a sort of closure for Trey as he makes the decision to move on in his relationship with Ethan and Reagan.

What bothers me is Brian's reaction to Trey's admission.  I am stunned that for two people who had such a close relationship, that Brian could have been (1) blind to Trey's real feelings all this time, and (2) that Brian came across as a wee bit crass and uncaring regarding Trey's confession. and (3) it is never really discussed further.

Were there ulterior motives to the way Brian handled Trey's confession? Is this something that a reader would have understood more if Jace and Eric's books had been released prior to Trey's story? And to be honest, I would have loved to have seen more of Brian and Trey working through this. It was such a brief scene that left me hanging and disappointed with the final results of such an epic part of Trey's life.

Overall, I believe that missing the hows and whys that a reader would have gotten in Jace's and Eric's story had a major affect in my rating--which has nothing to do with how much I enjoyed the book or Olivia's writing--and pulled it down to the 3.5 stars that I gave it. I totally believe that it would have been higher if I would have had the FULL story.

Still a big fan of the big O--and no, I ....well, yeah; both O's are held high in my book, lol.

Book Review
If you are regular follower of my blog, you are aware of my some what tee-tiny (hah!) obsession with The Sinners and Olivia Cunning's books. She writes books the way I wish I did--snarky, sexy, and with addictive characters you wish were real.
That being said, I sit impatiently at my laptop awaiting on her next installment of The Sinners On Tour--Double Time. What to do, what to do? ***taps fingers anxiously.
Oh! -- well lookie here!  Olivia has a new novella about another rock band, Sole Regret, that will tide me over...for just a few minutes anyways, lol.
And now I am addicted to another sexy rock band that do funny things to my girly bits. Naughty things that can be more addictive to chocolate to a raging chocoholic.
Sole Regret is the focus of this new series. All tatted up and pierced like the Rock Gods they are.  Gabe aka Force is the super hot drummer who easily knocks my panties, er...socks off and leaves me dying for more. Seriously. The story is a novella and is meant to be short--but come on, Livie...
Olivia manages to pack quite a punch in such a short amount of words--88 pages worth of sexual tension, snarky dialogue, and the sexiness that she writes with such vivid abandon.  My only complaint is that I needed more---Oh, so much more--of these rockers.

She didn't know if his name was echoing in her mind or if she was still screaming it aloud. One thing was for sure, she was unequivocally lost in the man and never wanted to be found again. --Melanie, Try Me

Amen, sista!
Now, I am sitting at my laptop awaiting for the next installment of this series--

Olivia--you are killing me, woman. But I will die with a smile on my face.

Back in 2010, a little book came out that rocked my girly bits and I had found a fantastic new MUST HAVE NOW author—The faboo and multi-orgasmic, er…talented Olivia Cunning. Since then I have ran nekked in the streets shouting at the top of my lungs about just how freakin’ great these books are. After a few neighbors complained about city ordinances and such, and a freakishly large moon, I had to put my clothes back on and settle for pimping at my laptop. Sheesh—some people just know how to ruin a gal’s time.

Imagine it if you will: Five sinfully sexy men that sport tats, have magical fingers, a smidge of bad-boy attitude and a smokin’ sex, er six pack. Oh, yeah—that reminds me--they love sex. They’re fucking brilliant at it. In fact, they have this thing called a circle suck…(AHEM—Olivia taps CS Maxwell on her shoulder, while giving her the stink eye.)

Sorry—I tend to lose myself in my fantasy world of all things Sinners, my bad. And Olivia has reminded me that we have a special treat for you guys. As much as I would love to have a free-for-all (nekked) buffet with Sed, Brian, Trey, Jace, and Eric, I was turned down and restraining orders were processed. I did, however, manage to finagle a little one-on-one time with Trey Mills. (Bri, unfortunately opted out, dammit.)

CS: Trey, it is fantastic to have you here and be one of the first peeps to try and get the scoop on your upcoming book, Double Time. Are you nervous about it?

Trey: Why would I be nervous? I have nothing to hide. My life is awesome. I have everything I’ve ever wanted. Well, almost everything…

CS: For most of the people out there unfamiliar with Backstage Pass, you had some really hot, smexy times with your best friend, Brian Sinclair, and his then girlfriend, Myrna. Now that he’s happily married to Myrna, have the three of you played together any more?

Trey: (laughs) Myrna is the jealous type. I never would have believed it when I first met her, but now that they’ve settled down, she’s almost as obsessive over Brian as he is over her. So, no, unfortunately, she hasn’t loosened his leash at all. But things that happen on tour when she’s not there—

Olivia: Trey, you might not want to share that here.

Trey: I’m not stupid enough to incriminate myself. Or him. What about what those two do with Jace and Aggie? Can I tell them that?

Olivia: No.

Trey: Why not?

Olivia: I’m a consummate tease.

CS: Which is the major cause for a lot of women running around with blue ovaries, Livy. You put the block in the female version of cock blocking.

Trey: That goes without saying. Can I tell them about my lessons with Jace and Aggie?

Olivia: No. I told you before we came—

Trey: Heh. You said came.

***CS shakes her head and gives an eye roll.

CS: Is it hard for you to see how happy your best friend is with a woman?

Trey: I’m glad Brian is happy. He deserves to be happy. I still think I could have gotten the job done. You never know, he might get sick of Myrna. She can be a nag. Wait. Is Myrna gonna read this?

Olivia nods at him.

Trey: Erm. I meant to say that Myrna is beyond awesome—a smoking hot sex pot that he will never ever get tired of no matter how much she nags. Erm. Doesn’t nag.

CS: Do you ever see yourself settling down for just one person? And would it be a man or a woman?

Trey: I’ve always said that there is only one person I would ever give up my big black book for. And if you’ve read the other two Sinners books, you know who he is.

CS: I must admit I may have been a wee bit distracted with all the smexing between Sed and Jes…those two are like rabbits…and no place is sacred.

CS: Speaking of sex, and DUH, what else---Was your first experience with a guy or gal? Did you have any performance anxiety the first time out of the gate, so to speak?

Trey: When you’re bisexual, you have two first times. My first first time was with a woman. An older woman. Much older. I thought everyone knew this story. I couldn’t convince Olivia to leave it out of Rock Hard. She owes me a life supply of cherry suckers for revealing that. My second first time was with the love of my life. That’s the first time that really counted. And I was too turned on by his sexiness to be nervous.

CS: ** glazed look for a minute**…Ah,…yeah..that would be very sexy. **wipes away the sudden appearance of perspiration off her face** Is it hot in here? I think someone’s fucking with the AC…**fans self **

CS: What sexual fantasy continues to play out in your pervy mind (don’t deny it, I’ve read both books several times), and you haven’t yet fulfilled? And give us a little taste of it, please?

Trey: If I have a fantasy, I have no problem finding someone or multiple someones who are willing to fulfill it. I’ve done just about anything you can imagine. Probably more than once. Right now I’m fantasizing about a spray can of whipped cream, a jar of maraschino cherries and a tongue piercing. You put that whipped cream wherever you want my tongue to go. Don’t forget to put the cherry on top to reward me for doing a real thorough job of licking off your cream. I do love cherries. Are you a cherry?

CS: **mouth gaping open with a bit a drool…** Uh, I’m sorry but you lost me at tongue piercing. And I think I’m gonna need a Sham-Wow for a clean up on this leather seat. Seriously, it’s like 100 friggin degrees in here, people! As to the cherry question? Uh, no…I haven’t had a cherry in a very long time. What? **glances at Olivia** OH-am I a cherry? Honey, I can be any flavor you want me to be. **waggles eyebrows.

CS: What are most looking forward to being told in your story?

Trey: The awesome sex. It puts me in the mood, if you know what I mean.

CS: I sure do-I have to stick my head in the freezer when I manage to come up for air. That Livey sure knows how to write some nasty ;)

Olivia: Everything puts him in the mood. A gentle breeze gives him a stiffy.

Trey: After that last question, I’m half there already.

CS: **Ogles Trey’s crotch…**Holy hell, if that’s half mast, I am soooo jealous of your gal/guy.

CS: What are you least looking forward to?

Trey: People reading about me fainting. Totally fucking embarrassing.

Olivia: It was sweet. Really.

Trey: Tcsh. Not.

CS: And is there any chance we can have a little peek at what’s in store in Double Time?

Trey: Well, I do the naughty with this—

Olivia: No spoilers, Trey.

Trey: Guitarist.

Olivia: Trey!

Trey: And then—

Olivia: If you give anything away, I’m going to change your cherry sucker fetish into a broccoli fetish.

Trey: You wouldn’t.

Olivia: Try me. The book doesn’t come out until November. Plenty of time to find “cherry”/replace all with “broccoli”.

Trey: You know, I’ve put a lot of things in my mouth over the years, but broccoli has to be my least favorite.

Olivia: Yes, I know. I know everything about you, sweetie. And why don’t you tell them why you don’t like broccoli.

Trey: It leaves those little green bits between your teeth. So not attractive.

Olivia: He’s impossible.

Trey, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk to me. I’m surprised I had the strength to stop myself from humping your leg, or basically molesting your sexy ass—but I managed (barely—dammit, you look great in those jeans, the way they hang so provocatively on your hips--**Olivia abruptly stands up, blocking CS from jumping on poor Trey Trey)

Whoops…guess our time is up, people.

Thank you Trey and most especially, Olivia Cunning for this most excellent giveaway and interview opportunity.

Question of the Week: This week's question comes courtesy of Shannon from Cocktails and Books. Which song reminds you of a favorite book or character?

Actually, I have a band that reminds me of a book series. And it's all Olivia Cunning's fault. LOL.
Seriously, I am glad that she has turned me on to this kick-ass band, they so rock me on a regular basis. I turn up their CD in the car and bang on the steering wheel like the superb drummer (hah) that I am.

The book series I am talking about is Olivia Cunning's Sinners On Tour...Sed, Brian, Jace, Eric, and Trey.

Olivia's books should come with heat index advisory--I swear, I have never blushed so damn much reading a book, nor laughed my ass off so hard. I have 'pimped' the hell out of this series to all those near and dear friends that have my similar snarky tastes in fiction. And not one person has told me, "Meh, it was just okay." All responses have been just as stoked as my own--"I want more!"

I was hooked from the beginning and sat in one spot until the last page was done. Now, I am wishing my life away for November--when Double Time will be released. I am not above parking my fat ass at Olivia's house begging for that that freaking good!

With the first wail of the guitar, the raspy yell of the lead singer, I imagine Avenged Sevenfold as the members of Cunning's fictional band. They even resemble how I picture her characters. And truly, what is not to love about a sexy tatted rock star?

And when I read these books (or re-read them as I have shamelessly done), I hear A7X in the background and I am in my happy place.

What about you? Do you have a song that reminds you of a favorite book or character?
